  Monday Night House League

The Spring 2010 Monday Night House League starts May 10th, 2010 for the regular season, with semi finals on the 5th of July and finals on the 12th of July.

Please remember, other people rely on you to show up for your MNHL games, so if you cannot make it, please make sure to contact your opponent and reschedule, or let them know you cannot show up.

Court periods are 35 minutes again for the fall and play begins at 6 pm, last court starting at 8:55. This also means that only 3 courts will be used at any one time. Now this provides us with a nice opportunity to be flexible, with some provisos

Courts 2, 3 and 4 are reserved for regularly scheduled games. Now some of you might not be able to make your regularly scheduled game, say at 6 PM or 8:55. If that is the case then please note that court 1 is free on a first come first served basis. (no fighting in the hallways please.

Note: all courts are back to 35 minutes for the fall.

Please read the following regarding the Format for the Monday Night House League.
  1. Due to the House League's popularity we have reduced court bookings to 35 minute periods, yes that's 35 minutes.
  2. This means a change in court etiquette for this House League. Most matches will be finished in under 35 minutes, but some will not. If you have finished your match in 35 minutes or less please be kind enough to give the court to someone who is waiting. If no one is waiting please feel free to continue until someone is waiting. Conversely if you are waiting for a court and the previous match is not yet complete please allow it to complete before taking the court. The same courtesy will be extended to you. This may cause some backups but over course of the evening the long running games should balance the short running ones.
  3. The schedule contains 2 parts. The left hand side tells you which team is playing which team, eg "a-b" means team A is playing team B.
  4. The right hand side tells you which level is playing at what time. Eg "L1" under 6:00 tells you that all Level 1s are playing at 6 PM while an "L3" under 8:20 tells you that all Level 3s are playing at 8:20.
  5. There is an nine week regular season with a two week playoff.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
